Investment in Infrastructure, a Guarantee for the Future of the Province’s Beach Sports
The CEO of Hormozgan Steel Company, emphasizing the company's long-term and development-oriented vision, announced that given the province's distinct geographical location, investment in sports infrastructure can guarantee the future of beach sports in Hormozgan; he also announced the company's five-year plan to create lasting infrastructure for nurturing talent.
Alireza Rahim, during a visit by Ahmad Moradi, the representative of Bandar Abbas people, to the training sessions of Hormozgan Steel’s beach soccer team, expressed gratitude for the athletes’ efforts and stated: Hormozgan Steel’s beach soccer team is one of the country’s valuable sports assets, and we hope that this year, as in previous years, it will bring honor.
He added: Hormozgan Steel’s view of sports is a long-term and development-oriented one. Based on conducted feasibility studies, beach sports have been selected as one of the company’s strategic priorities in the area of social responsibilities and the development of the province’s human capital.
Rahim emphasized: Due to its geographical location, culture, and human talents, Hormozgan has a unique capacity in beach sports, and if suitable infrastructure is provided, it can become one of the main hubs for these disciplines at the national and Asian levels.
The CEO of Hormozgan Steel, referring to the company’s five-year sports development plan, said: Our focus is not solely on supporting sports teams; rather, the main goal is to create lasting infrastructure for nurturing the talents of future generations.
He continued: Since last year, we have submitted a proposal to provincial officials for the establishment of a specialized beach sports complex, and we continue to pursue this matter seriously. We hope that with the cooperation of the Hormozgan Governorate, the General Department of Sports and Youth, parliamentary representatives, and Mobarakeh Steel Company, this important demand will be realized, and the province will have a facility befitting its sports capacities.
Rahim concluded by expressing appreciation for the support of Ahmad Moradi, the representative of Hormozgan people in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and said: Through empathy and synergy among all institutions, we can create infrastructure that will be a source of pride, championship, and the development of the province’s sports for years to come.
