MMG confirms restart of operations at Las Bambas copper mine in Peru
Hong Kong-listed MMG confirmed on Monday it had restarted operations for its mine and process plant at its Las Bambas operations in Peru from August 21.
Operations at the Las Bambas copper mine had been temporarily suspended since August 19 after an accident on the previous day killed two workers and injured three others. Peru’s labor watchdog launched an investigation into the incident.
