Chile says revived Argentina mining treaty could unlock $20.7bn
Chilean Mining Minister Daniel Mas said on Thursday that reviving a mining integration treaty with Argentina could unlock more than $20.7-billion in investment and add 540 000 metric tons of copper a year to the market.
The two countries held talks in July to relaunch the cooperation mechanism and are due to meet again at the end of August.
