PIC buys more Valterra shares
Asset manager the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) has acquired additional securities in platinum group metals (PGMs) miner Valterra Platinum, taking its interest in the mining company to nearly 20.07%.
Valterra, previously Anglo American Platinum, is expected to publish its second-quarter production results on July 17.
The PGMs miner in June affirmed during its inaugural Sustainability Day that sustainability is at the heart of the future of mining. The metals it produces are used in cleaner technologies, such as hydrogen energy systems and emission reduction solutions.
