Iran Alloy Steel Company Signs Two Commercial and Financial MoUs at Eurasian Summit

Iran Alloy Steel Company, during the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union summit in Minsk, took an important step toward diversifying export markets and facilitating financial exchanges in the Eurasian region by signing two key memoranda of understanding with the Belarusian Commodity Exchange and "TC Bank."

On the sidelines of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union meeting, held on October 1–2, 2026, with the participation of heads of state of member and observer countries in Minsk, Belarus, Iran Alloy Steel Company, in order to expand trade ties and penetrate regional target markets, brought intensive negotiations with regional economic actors to fruition.

Signing of Two Strategic MoUs with TC Bank and Belarusian Commodity Exchange

The trade delegation of Iran Alloy Steel succeeded in signing two strategic cooperation memoranda with “TC Bank” and the “Belarusian Commodity Exchange.” The purpose of drafting these documents is to utilize modern financial instruments and transparent trading mechanisms of the commodity exchange to guarantee product sales and facilitate monetary transfers in the Eurasian economic geography.

Simultaneously with the holding of side events of this summit, representatives of Iran Alloy Steel held comprehensive consultations with delegations from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus regarding export development, logistical interactions, and marketing of alloy products.

Developing Export Markets in the Face of Trade Challenges

These agreements are being concluded at a time when the country’s steel industry is simultaneously facing challenges from energy constraints and international foreign trade barriers; however, Iran Alloy Steel’s operational strategy is based on creating alternative opportunities, diversifying trade destinations, and converting Eurasia’s geoeconomic potentials into sustainable sales outlets.

Strong Presence of Iran’s Industrial and Mining Giants in Minsk

The Minsk gathering also served as a showcase of the country’s industry, mining, and investment sector capabilities; where alongside Iran Alloy Steel, prominent companies and institutions such as IMIDRO, IDRO, Chadormalu, Goharzamin Iron Ore, Tamin Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Investment Company (TAFCO), and Parsian Oil and Gas Development had an active presence to demonstrate the determination of the mining and mineral industries sector to break trade deadlocks and deepen economic diplomacy.
