Commodity Exchange Hosts 138,000 Tons of Steel Products
The extensive offering of over 138,000 tons of various steel products, including bloom billets and hot-rolled and color-coated sheets, at the simultaneous trading hall of Iran's Commodity Exchange has provided a suitable platform for strengthening the supply chain of downstream industries and further boosting trading activity in this sector in the first days of the week.
According to a report by Mining News, based on the latest offering announcement from the Iran Commodity Exchange, today, Tuesday, July 13, 2026, the simultaneous trading hall is witnessing the offering of 138,536 tons of diverse steel products, aimed at meeting a significant portion of the demand from producers in the steel value chain.
According to the details of this report, the bulk of today’s offering is allocated to bloom billets; with 124,750 tons of this key product being offered on the trading floor at a base price of 568,616 rials per ton.
In addition, to cover the needs of sheet manufacturing industries, 10,786 tons of hot-rolled B-grade sheet have been made available to buyers and applicants at a base price of 765,000 rials per ton.
Furthermore, the supply chain of value-added steel products at the Commodity Exchange is completed with the offering of 3,000 tons of color-coated sheet at a base price of 1,354,499 rials per ton.
