Mining News Pro - World Steel Association announced: During the first eleven month of 2018, the production of crude steel has been increased by 17.3 and 4.3 in Iran and in the world.
According to Mining News Pro - World Steel Association said that Iran has produced 22.5 million tons of crude steel in the first eleven months of this year, which shows a 17.3 growth comparing to the last year.
Also, Iran`s crude steel production in November 2018 grew by 2.5% to two million tons. One of the main reasons for this growth is the launch of new factories over the past two years.
In the first 11 months of this year, 64 steelmaker countries in the world produced 1.6 billion tons of crude steel that shows a 4.7 raise compared to the last year.
In addition, global steel makers` production in November 2018 was up by 5.8 percent.
In the same period, this year, respectively China with 875.3 million tons of crude steel production, India with 96.9 million tons, Japan with 95.8 million tons, United States with 79.1 million tons and South Korea with 66.2 million tons, are the top five countries in crude steel production in the world.
