28 Major Iranian Mining Companies to Attend Russia Expo
The Head of IMIDRO's Board of Directors, citing the necessity of expanding trade relations with the Eurasian region, announced the strong presence of Iran's major mining and mineral industry companies at Russia's Metal Expo 2026.
Mohammad Masoud Samiei-Nejad made the remarks at the coordination meeting for the Russia Metal Expo (2026), stating: In accordance with the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade’s directive to enhance trade and economic relations with Eurasian countries, mining and mineral industry companies are set to participate in this international exhibition.
He added: One of the solutions for neutralizing the oppressive sanctions of Europe and the West is developing trade with the countries of the Eurasian region. Therefore, a strong presence at Russia’s international expo is a suitable opportunity to strengthen our relations in the development of the industry and mining sector.
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, expressing hope that the presence of Iranian companies at the exhibition will yield valuable achievements leading to contracts in technology and development, stated: So far, about 28 major companies have announced their readiness to participate in this exhibition. Additionally, some oil and petrochemical companies, as well as IDRO, have also announced their participation.
According to the report, the Russia Expo 2026 will be held from November 9 to 13, 2026.
