Mining News Agency - In January-September Ukrainian metal companies imported 1.026 million tons of coke, down by 8.2% YoY, valued at $285.845 million, up by 47%.
Mining News - According to the State Fiscal Service, the main suppliers of coke were Russia (46.78%), Poland (41.86%) and China (5.67%).
Coke exports increased by 13.5%, to 200.2 thousand tons valued at $40.775 million, up by 81.6%. The main customers were Turkey (26.11%), India (23.97%) and the South African Republic (18.46%).
In September average daily coke output in Ukraine totaled 28.2 thousand tons. In January-September coke output fell by 21% YoY to 7.696 million tons.
