With the presence of MIHDCO’s chief executive, Zarand Iranian Steel Co. has been exploited.
According to Mining News Center - With the presence of Pourmand, MIHDCO’s chief executive, Zarand Iranian Steel Co. has been exploited which is one of the biggest steel projects in Iran.
“This is an economic gift for this country and people which is a result of the hardworking of all personnel,” said Pourmand, CEO of MIDHCO.
Also, the CEO of Zarand Iranian Steel Company was present in this event and said: “This project began 8 years ago when there were sanctions and after all these years finally, we succeeded to finish it.”
“Not only it has a great impact not only on the economic development of the city and the province, but also with the production of 1.7 million tons of steel it has a great impact on Iran’s economy,” Sohrabnezhad added.
This complex is the last loop of Zarand Iranian’s steel supply chain. The purpose of building this complex is to produce 1.7 million tons of steel (billet) annually.
This complex includes:
-transportation and storage area
-sinter making area
-oxygen unit
-utility unit
-and steel making and casting area.
