Mining News Pro - In July, the country produced 377 tons of steel, down 14.1 percent year-on-year, according to the Kazakhstani Ministry of Economy statistics.
Between January and July, Kazakh steel production grew by 0.2 percent to 2,668,000 tons.
The country`s production grew by 7.2% to 1.738,000 tonnes, up from 277,000 in July, up 13.7%.
The country was also in the process of producing ferroalloy, with a production of 1.192 million tons in the first seven months of the year, which was 178 thousand tons in July. Ferroalloy production grew by 9.5% in July.
