Mining News - Head of industry, mining and trade in Semnan province said that according to the plans, provision of electricity for the mines of the province, especially Shahrood and Damghan, will be in place for the next two years.
According to Minnews News, Behrooz Asadi, while pointing out that Semnan Province has many mineral capacities that we are trying to overcome barriers to production in these mines, emphasized: with the aim of expanding investment and mineral activities, supplying electricity to Shahrud mines and Damghan will be on the agenda for another two years. He added that providing sustainable energy for part of the mines in Semnan Province is one of the steps taken to create a willingness to invest, as well as to improve their mines and their products.
"If we can provide the infrastructure of mines, we will surely see good investors in this area," said the head of the industry, mining and trade organization of Semnan province, saying that there are more than two thousand mining licenses in the province. Speaking with the statement that the government is obligated to provide the necessary infrastructure, he said: "The mines in Semnan province are considered one of the most important mineral resources of Iran, with its 42 mineral resources, which helps them to help the country`s economy.
He said that despite the abundant capacities of the Semnan province in the field of mining, among them, one can mention the first rank of Semnan in the country`s gypsum and siliceous deposits, saying that the mines will not need anything other than energy, electricity, water and roads. The reason for the lack of infrastructure in a small number of mines in the province is that we should not have seen or even witnessed the provision of infrastructure, but we hope that in the future, with the help of IMIDRO, we will see an improvement in the province`s mines.
