Global oil prices rose more than one percent in Asian morning trading on Monday due to continued uncertainty over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Al Jazeera reported that oil prices increased in Asian morning trading, as the future of the strait’s reopening remains shrouded in uncertainty.
According to the report, Brent crude futures rose more than one percent, with prices exceeding $84 per barrel. US oil futures also gained more than one percent.

Iran has announced that an agreement with Oman to designate new shipping routes is in its final stages, but has stressed that the United States must still meet certain other conditions .
