Chadormalu’s Strategy; Developing New Mines Alongside Sourcing Ore from the Market
The CEO of Omid Investment Management Company described Chadormalu's strategy as a combination of developing new mines and sourcing ore from the market, assessing this approach as a smart strategy for sustaining production.
Babak Ebrahimi, CEO of Omid Investment Management Company, described the strategy of Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company as developing new mines alongside sourcing ore from the market, and considered this approach a smart and strategic choice.
Ebrahimi, referring to Chadormalu’s development plans in the mining sector, stated: By utilizing the capacity of surrounding mines and developing new mines, this company is pursuing a path of sustainable production supply.
He added: Chadormalu has devised the necessary measures for developing new mines, has participated in various tenders, and has initiated preliminary overburden removal in some projects. According to him, new exploratory mines will also be added to the company’s resources and reserves in the future.
The CEO of Omid Investment Management Company continued: During this period, Chadormalu has taken a valuable step by covering production needs through sourcing ore from the chain of surrounding mines. Of course, this does not mean that Chadormalu’s ore reserves have been depleted, and given the large number of ore mines in the country, there is also the possibility of supplying raw materials from other mines.
Ebrahimi added: The company has at times attempted to utilize market capacity for ore sourcing, which in my opinion is a smart and strategic approach. However, Chadormalu must continue to keep the development of new mines on its agenda.
