The exploration of new mining areas begins in Sangan, Khaaf

According to Mining News Pro - Manager of Sangan Khaaf iron ore complex said that in order to effectively exploit the rich reserves of these mines, the complex has defined several exploration programs, among which it is possible to mention the acquisition of exploration permits for 10 new areas in the Sangan area.

Hasan Jafari also said: “Capable points in the mentioned areas have been identified for additional exploration stages, discovery and exploitation certificates, and among these drilling operations are the central and eastern areas of Sangan with an area of 20,000 meters.”

“Since this complex provides a major part of the country's concentrate and pellet making units, the transport system and inadequate road and communication infrastructures cause stagnation and decreasein the proper efficiency of mining and processing mines,” he added.

He also mentioned that last year the company was able to load and transfer 1.2 million tons of mineral products to different areas.
