During a meeting with journalists, the Iraj Rokhsati chief executive of Esfahan Steel Company said that this company is ready for major constructional projects and will add 12 new products to its production line.
Rokhsati also mentioned that the company is prepared to help the government reach its 1 million housing construction.
He pointed out the importance of sustainable supply of raw materials for production as well as increasing its quantity and quality, and regarding the import of coke and coal from abroad and the increase in global prices, he said: “The high cost of imported raw materials and some bottlenecks in the supply of materials inside the country create restrictions for us, however, we provide part of our foreign exchange resources through the export of 40% of products abroad.”
He also added that currently, 65% of the girders required by the country are produced Esfahan Steel Company.
