Touraj Zare, chief executive of Iran Alumina Company said: “The private sector provides about 10% of the bauxite needs and the rest is extracted from the mines owned by the company.”
“The bauxite is supplied from private sector mines in various provinces, including North Khorasan, Tehran, Yazd, and Semnan,” he added.
“The consumption of bauxite as the mineral raw material for our complex is one million tons per year, and based on this, this factory has a reserve of mineral raw material for another 30 years,” Zare said.
