According to Mining News Pro - Esfahan Steel Company is the only producer of rail in Iran that succeeded to produce 20 thousand tons of rail in the last three months and about 10 thousand tons has produced in the first month.
Mohammadamin Yousedzadeh, engineering manager of ESCO says that the rails which has been produced in this company are 60E1 which is for high-speed lines.
Esfahan Steel Company currently supply the domestic demand in Iran and has plans for export.
Also this company is the only producer of rail in middle east and north Africa.
