The amount of electrode consumption in the steelmaking section of Mobarakeh Steel Company in April 2022 was 1.76 kg per ton of melt, which decreased to 1.60 kg per ton of melt in April of this year.

The consumption of 600 mm size electrode in the electric arc furnaces of Mobarakeh steel was reduced to 1.60 kg per ton of melt in April 2023.

“The amount of electrode consumption in the same period of 2022 was 1.76 kg per ton of melt, which in April this year decreased by 9.1%, and a significant saving was achieved for the company,” said Meisam Hashemi, director of graphite electrode in steelmaking section.
