Japanese iron ore imports fell in July

According to Mining News Pro -Japan`s iron ore imports during the period amounted to 7,880,000 tonnes, down 13% from July last year.

Most of the iron ore imports from Australia were 5 million and 900 thousand tons. Bhadril, the second-largest iron ore exporter to Japan, issued 970,000 tonnes of cannabis and 698,000 tonnes of iron ore to Japan.

The iron ore pellet imports were about one million and 350 thousand tons, up 7.3 percent from July 2017. Brazil shipped most of the pellets to Japan, with a tonnage of 1.5 million tons. Canada shipped 32,000 tonnes of Chilean and 80,000 tonnes of chicken to Japan.
