This is despite the fact that this company is ready to jump production and set more records, we have seen the application of electricity consumption restrictions to this company since the beginning of June.

During the last two or three years, the country's steel industry has been affected by the lack of energy, and electricity restrictions are imposed on this industry in summer and gas restrictions in winter. This is despite the fact that these days the steel industry is relying on its strength more than in the past and is moving forward despite all the problems.

Considering the same issue, the growth of annual production despite the constant capacity is on HOSCO’s agenda, and by carrying out improvement projects, significant successes have been achieved in the field of increasing production, including exceeding the nominal capacity in the steel unit mentioned in 1401 and the direct regeneration unit in 1400.

Despite the imposition of electricity restrictions on production activities since the beginning of June, production continues in Hormozgan Steel, and due to the peak electricity consumption during the day, this company is only allowed to produce at night. Total steel production in Hormozgan Steel during the first three months of this year reached 440 thousand 832 tons.
