ESCO focus on reducing the production costs

Mehdi Kouhi, chief executive of Esfahan Steel Company visited different sectioned of blast furnace unit and during a meeting with the managers of this company he discussed the solutions to increase production and productivity.

“The main goal of ESCO departments in Isfahan should be focused on reducing the production costs. By saving and reducing energy consumption and proper combination of raw materials, domestic and foreign coke, the production rate will be economical and will increase productivity and incomes,” he explained.

He mentioned the 85% localization of the products in the industrial complex as an advantage in comparison to the other mining companies.

“All these achievements are due to our precious human resource,” he added.

During the meeting, Homayoun Samimi, the manager of the blast furnace department, the deputies and supervisors of this department explained the current issues, programs and activities, innovations, production statistics, records and localizations in reports.
