Mining News Agency -According to the information released by the Chilean government on February 28th, the production of Chilean copper fell by 6.3% month on month in January, and that of molybdenum decreased by 7.6% month on month, but both increased in January year on year.
Mining News -In January, Chile produced around 504,000 tons of copper, down by 6.3% from 537,000 tons in December, but the production was still up from 474,000 tons in January last year.
As for molybdenum, the production in January was around 4,700 tons, dropping by 7.6% of 390 tons compared to last month, but it was still up by 10.12% compared to last year.
