Elevra expects higher realised prices from spodumene concentrate going forward
Elevra Lithium has produced 54 479 t of spodumene concentrate from its North American Lithium (NAL) operations, in Québec, in the quarter ended June 30.
The company realised an average price of $919/t for 33 977 t sold in the quarter.
While the company’s operational performance was strong, realised pricing for the quarter was below current spot market pricing owing to contractual lagged pricing mechanisms. Elevra explains that the June quarter shipments were made to contractual customers which incorporated a lagged pricing mechanism reflecting average market prices during October 2025 to March this year.
As a result, the June quarter realised pricing reflects a lower historical pricing environment, however, the June deliveries were the final ones under this legacy contract and future realised pricing from July onwards is expected to align more closely with prevailing spot market pricing.
Elevra says its June quarter production increased by 15% quarter-on-quarter and marked the second-highest quarterly production on record for the NAL operations. Production in May alone totalled a record 22 202 t.
Elevra’s full-year production came to 197 968 t at the end of June.
The company continues to focus on plant optimisation, ore feed consistency and recovery improvements.
