According to Mining News Pro - In an interview with Mining News Agency, Ardeshir SadMohammadi, said that the company already hit the last year’s export in the first half of this year. “We hope to have more convenient export situation in the second six months of this year.”
“We are determined to produce more than 300 thousand tons of copper cathode next year for the first time in NICICO history. Currently we produced more than 200 thousand tons,” he said.
“In the next five year, we try to reach more that 400 thousand tons of copper cathode production and we have definite development plans in this regard. Currently, mining operations are approximately 180 million tons per year. For reaching our target in future, we must extend it to more than 350 million tons,” he insisted.
